A hands-on approach to lymphatic support and natural body contouring

Looking for a treatment that goes beyond traditional lymphatic drainage?

Lymphomodelling combines an activated lymphatic approach with faster, targeted hands-on contouring techniques designed to support fluid movement, circulation, tissue mobility, and your body's natural contours.

Why This Isn't Traditional Lymphatic Drainage

Our Therapeutic Sports Treatment
🏃‍♂️💥🩹

Lymphomodelling and Manual Lymphatic Drainage both work with the lymphatic system, but they are very different treatments.

Traditional Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses slow, gentle, light-pressure movements to encourage lymphatic flow.

🏃‍♂️💥🩹

Lymphomodelling is faster, deeper, and more targeted.

🏃‍♂️💥🩹

Rather than performing a traditional full-body lymphatic treatment, your therapist concentrates on one area using accelerated, rhythmic movements combined with contouring techniques.

These movements create warmth within the treated area while supporting circulation, lymphatic movement, and tissue mobility.

The LM Therapeutics Difference

Specialized Training

  • LM Therapeutics is trained and certified in the Manuela Shala Lymphomodelling technique, a specialized approach taught through its designated training program. Our additional education in body contouring and massage therapy gives us a broader understanding of the body and allows us to determine when Lymphomodelling, traditional Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Body Contouring, or another approach may be more appropriate.

Our practitioners bring specialized training that goes far beyond basic massage certification, allowing them to "read" your body's unique patterns and address underlying issues.

Customized Treatment

  • Your treatment should fit your body, not the other way around. We consider your goals, treatment area, health history, and how your body responds before recommending a treatment plan.

Our practitioners bring specialized training that goes far beyond basic massage certification, allowing them to "read" your body's unique patterns and address underlying issues.

More Than a Cosmetic Trend

  • Lymphomodelling isn't cosmetic surgery, a weight-loss treatment, or a one-session transformation. Our approach is about working intentionally with your body through specialized hands-on techniques while helping you understand realistic expectations for your treatment.

Our practitioners bring specialized training that goes far beyond basic massage certification, allowing them to "read" your body's unique patterns and address underlying issues.

Lymphomodelling vs. MLD vs. Body Contouring

Here's how each approach differs, so you can choose what's right for you.

Lymphomodelling

Fast-paced • Deeper • Localized • Primarily hands-on

Combines lymphatic support with manual contouring techniques and focuses on one targeted area of the body.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Gentle • Slow • Rhythmic • Therapeutic

Uses light, intentional movements to support lymphatic flow and may be incorporated into medically focused or therapeutic care depending on the client's needs.

Body Contouring

Hands-on • Tools • Technology • Cosmetic-focused

Combines manual techniques with specialized tools and equipment to support contouring goals.

Not Sure Which One You Need?

That's okay. Your therapist can help you understand the differences and recommend the treatment that best aligns with your body, health history, and goals.

What Can Lymphomodelling Target?

‍

Lymphomodelling can be performed on several areas, including:

- Abdomen

- Back

- Legs

- Arms

- Face

Each approximately 50-minute treatment focuses on a specific area rather than functioning as a full-body lymphatic massage.

What Should I Expect?

A Lymphomodelling session is approximately 50 minutes per treatment area.

Because the technique is deeper and faster than traditional Manual Lymphatic Drainage, the first session may feel slightly uncomfortable in certain areas, but the treatment should not be excessively painful.

Clients may experience a feeling of lightness following treatment and may notice changes in puffiness or the appearance of the treated area.

For clients working toward a specific goal, approximately 3–6 treatments, typically once per week, may be recommended depending on the individual.

Results and treatment recommendations vary from person to person.

Common questions

Is Lymphomodelling the same as Manual Lymphatic Drainage?

No. Traditional MLD uses very light, slow, rhythmic movements and may be used as part of therapeutic or medically focused lymphatic care. Lymphomodelling is faster, deeper, more localized, and incorporates hands-on contouring techniques.

Is Lymphomodelling the same as Body Contouring?

No. Lymphomodelling is primarily performed by hand. LM Therapeutics' Body Contouring treatments can incorporate additional tools and technologies alongside hands-on techniques.

Is Lymphomodelling a full-body treatment?

No. Lymphomodelling focuses on a specific area during each approximately 50-minute session.

Does Lymphomodelling hurt?

The deeper, faster technique can feel slightly uncomfortable during an initial treatment, particularly in certain areas, but it should not be excessively painful.

How many treatments will I need?

It depends on your body and goals. A series of approximately 3–6 treatments, generally performed once per week, may be recommended.

Will one session give me cosmetic-surgery results?

No. Lymphomodelling should not be viewed as a substitute for cosmetic surgery or weight loss. Individual experiences vary, and multiple treatments may be recommended depending on your goals.

Do I need to wear a waist trainer afterward?

Your therapist may recommend compression or a waist trainer as part of your individualized aftercare. When recommended, Lili's protocol is generally approximately four hours per day for the first three days following treatment.
